Do you want to build a legacy?
I’m Dorian Antešić, a financial advisor focused on helping families and fellow advisors build wealth that lasts for generations.
Wealth is more than a number — it’s responsibility, meaning, and endurance. I founded Antešić Family Wealth to help families and advisors make decisions their children (and their children’s children) will be grateful for.
My path into finance has been global from the start — and personal from a young age. My grandfather, an accountant and entrepreneur, introduced me to markets and stewardship. That early curiosity — how money moves, how families build durable wealth — became my life’s work.
Today, my work blends modern investment management with timeless principles: stewardship, legacy, endurance, and professionalism. I write to think in public; I advise to turn principles into action.
If you’d like the full picture of how I think about family wealth, you can read the page “New to the website? Start here.”
What follows here is more about who I am and how I came to this work.
The Family Wealth Philosophy (in brief)
At the core of my work is a simple idea:
we manage wealth on behalf of those who will come after us.
Four principles guide me:
Stewardship over Ownership – We manage wealth on behalf of future generations.
Clarity before Action – Planning first; allocation second.
Endurance over Excitement – Process beats episodes of brilliance.
Legacy with Purpose – Money serves values, not the reverse.
Professional Roles & Registration
Investment Advisor Representative (USA) – Registered in Texas, California, and North Dakota with Bona Fide Finance.
European practice – Business registered in Croatia, working with clients in a cross-border context.
In practice, my day-to-day work combines:
investment research and portfolio construction, and
long-term planning focused on family wealth across generations.
Education
I studied finance in three European countries, which strongly shapes how I think about risk, return, and policy.

Rooted in Europe, Working Globally
I’ve lived in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and Spain, and traveled to 22 countries across three continents. I built Antešić Family Wealth while working remotely — studying how different cultures sustain wealth, building networks, and exploring global optionality.
That experience gives me a practical, cross-border perspective on:
how families can diversify across systems,
how to balance rootedness and flexibility, and
how to use financial capital in service of human and intellectual capital, not the other way around.
Currently, I mostly work with US families and advisors in a remote capacity.
Personal Life
I was raised on the Adriatic island of Rab and now live in Croatia with my wife and our young son.
Building Antešić Family Wealth is not an abstract exercise for me — it’s the context of my own life. The same questions I help clients think through are the ones I wrestle with for my family: how to be good stewards, how to make long-term trade-offs, and how to use wealth as an engine for doing the right things.
